BatteryDAQ Modules
The 3rd generation BatteryDAQ Module "Arshanold" has inherited most of its features from previous generations. It also has offered many exciting features:
- Cost -- our market goal, our advanced design and our massive production lead to our economic price. "Every battery string should have a valid monitoring companion to ensure the safety and reliability". Now, you can afford reliable technology for each battery bank.
- Internal resistance and connection resistance -- with our advanced Wavelet Digital Signal Processing technology, our modules have unsurpassable accuracy in IR online measurement. No discharge is needed during IR test.
- High common voltage -- +/-20V range to each channel with +/-400 input protection. You may make mistake when you link hundreds of wires in the field. As far as you keep the sampling wires in the voltage input region, even in wrong order, there will be no damage to the module. (Don't link voltage sampling wires to those ports for the communication or temperature/current sensors. Those ports are unprotected.)
- Compact design -- The housing of the module is about as thick as one penny thanks to many other technologies supplied by our world top electronics companies. There is no compromise for the reliable wiring & connection. The module continues using Phoenix Contact industrial standard connectors since the 1st generation in 1995. They have been proved to be the most reliable connection.
- Standard communication protocol -- the 3rd generation moves to industrial standard Modbus RTU protocol. You can integrate it to any Modbus system or use any Modbus software to get the data from module. If you are not familiar with Modbus but wish to add in your software, we can provide the source code which is designed & tested by BatteryDAQ.
- High ripple noise immunity -- in the past years of application, we have encounted many UPS systems which generate high ripple noise (mostly due to cost savings). It has been tested with many UPS systems which have been known to suffer from high ripple noise and passed with flying colors.
- Laboratory application -- we often have been asked to use our product in scientific research and battery product development. BatteryDAQ module is our first attempt at serving those users. It opens up more parameters to users for a variety of testing tasks. The Excel sheet panel makes it straightforward to acquire data and plot curves. Fans of LabVIEW will be happy to know that the module is LabVIEW compatible. It behaves just like regular DAQ cards.
