OEM Platform

For system integration companies and equipment manufacturers, ODM (Original Design & Manufacture) is the most cost effective way to adapt BatteryDAQ technologies into their own systems and products.

Currently, there are 2 primary ways of implementing ODM with BatteryDAQ:

1) BatteryDAQ designs the module which can seamlessly work with the main controller of the equipment. BatteryDAQ provides the modules (or core chip sets) in the future. Usually, there is no NRE (Non Recurring Engineering) fee.

2) BatteryDAQ designs the solution. After prototyping and testing, BatteryDAQ charges one time fee for the development and licenses the technology to the individual product of said manufacturer.

BatteryDAQ has built the advanced development and test platform to enable successful ODMs.

International Collaboration

BatteryDAQ has established relationships with many world-class equipment manufacturers. We accept and provide multi-language specifications and other documents. Unless otherwise specified the design documents are in English.

Experience

Most case will be handled and supervised by S Long who is an IEEE senior member. He has more than 15 years of experience in measurement sciences and technologies.

Efficient Design Team

The design team consists of electronics engineers, software/firmware engineers, mechanical engineers and quality control professionals.

Quick Prototyping

Many prototypes have been made within 2 weeks. Our are often impressed by our ability to quickly turnaround prototypes.

Testing

The testing schedule is an important part of the entire ODM project. It is a sophisticated coordination between our design team and client's product team. BatteryDAQ has advanced instrumentation and different batteries. BatteryDAQ also sends engineers overseas to collaborate with companies.

Certification Support

Our experience assists you in providing a product that is capable of passing the certifications: UL, CE, CSA etc.

Mass Production

The quality control documents are provided along with the design. Our production group will ensure a high quality product and on time delivery.

OEM

Workflow

Our standard operation procedures cover the entire life time of the ODM project. The goal is to provide reliable, advanced, seamless, cost effective and high quality solutions for battery monitoring. We believe our solutions are unsurpassed by any others available on the market.

Collect information for your battery application

Different battery applications require various content of monitoring. Along with some internal maintenance guides or standards, it is often difficult to have the specifications signed by the authority. Contacting BatteryDAQ at the early stage will save significant time in working out the specifications.

Contact BatteryDAQ

Send your email to tech@batterydaq.com. We will respond to your request by an email or telephone to discuss details. If necessary, we will arrange a site visit to your facility. You are welcome to visit us at your convenience.

Feasibility Analysis and Discussion

We will do a cost benefit analysis to determine if our products are feasible for your applications.

Contract

A contract is required in order to start a project.

Design

Design is often is often done in conjunction with our client. In many cases, both sides need to work together to produce a seamless and cost effective solution.

Prototype

Usually, the prototype is based on adapting our existing product to the customer's application needs.

Prototype Test

We will test the prototype for the basic performance and functions. It needs to be connected to your equipment for a confirmation test.

Product Technology

For a high quality product, we will work on the detail design for the production.

Product Test

A small scale production will be conducted to verify design documents and quality control plans.

Mass Production

Depends on customer's selection, the final product can be made in the USA or China.

Transfer Documents

Once BatteryDAQ technologies become part of your product, we will provide sufficient documents for your production, installation and services.

Training

You may have the training in BatteryDAQ in Maryland or on your site.
